Avinezar & Princy

Mukti & Mahima

Avinezar is pursuing an education degree. He aspires to become a teacher to help hill people. His sister Princy is studying to be a Nurse. She says, “Nurses are put under a tremendous amount of stress and being able to control that stress is key in a nurse’s career.” But Avinezar, Princy and their mother have just come through a crucible experience, as their father was taken from them by COVID-19. Now their aspirations are on hold, till their education can be funded.

Mukti and Mahima are among 4 siblings who lost their under-40-year-old mother to COVID-19. “When our mother was infected with the corona virus, we struggled a lot to get her admitted in the hospital. We live in Madhya Pradesh in Central India, among the Bhil Adivasi (indigenous) people, whom my parents have served together. We took my mother to the city of Dahod for treatment but there were no hospital beds available. Then we took her to Vadodara city, where she got admitted but she only survived for 3 days. If we could have admitted her early, we could have saved her life. If any organization comes forward to open a hospital, it would be a great service for our Bhil Adivasi people.” Both sisters are studying to become Nurses. But they cannot realize their dream without your generosity.

Joshua & Jemima

Amol

Joshua had just graduated from high school and was overjoyed to receive admission into a college of his dreams to become a Physician’s Assistant. His sister Jemima was already a college freshman pursuing a Commerce degree on track to realizing her dream of becoming a Bank Manager. But their dreams were shattered when their father succumbed to COVID-19, and the economic impact of that tragedy meant that they could no longer afford the fees to continue their education. Help us help them get back on their feet.

Amol’s mother was taken away from him without warning as a result of COVID-19. Not only did this create an emotional vacuum in his life but also an economic one. Amol’s goal is to pursue a degree in Computer Application.
