Mercy
Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery
Born an orphan and raised in an orphanage, Mercy overcame early hardship and is now pursuing a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery with her husband's support. Her husband, the sole earner for their family of five, took out a loan to fund her education despite financial strain. Inspired by the kindness she received growing up, Mercy hopes to give back by serving the needy through her nursing career. Her resilience, purpose-driven motivation, and skill set will make her an excellent nurse.

Keerthana
Bachelor’s in Computer Science
“I love coding”, says Keerthana who is pursuing an engineering degree in Computer Science. She has also registered in the AI lab at her engineering college where she is a freshman.
Keerthana deeply respects her parents who did not get a college education but consistently worked hard and made sacrifices to provide one for her and her brother, against the advice of their friends and family. Her father had a polio attack when he was in the seventh grade and lives with physical challenges as a result of that. Keerthana speaks of her father as a significant influence in her life. She says he has always drawn from his own struggles, sharing stories to inspire Keerthana and her brother.
“My biggest dream is to help my family get to the next step”, says Keerthana.

Trineta
Bachelor’s in Nursing
Trineta comes from a financially struggling family where her father works as a hospital attender and her mother is a homemaker. Her elder brother has a mental disability and requires constant care, adding to the family’s challenges. Despite limited income, her parents prioritized her education, and she is now pursuing a Bachelor’s in Nursing course at the same hospital where her father works.

Blessy
Bachelor’s in Science Physician Assistant
Blessy comes from a missionary family in Bihar, with both parents having only studied up to the 10th grade. Her father is currently battling cancer and undergoing costly treatments, making it difficult to support her education. Despite these hardships, Blessy has been admitted to a Physician Assistant program and is determined to use her medical training to support her family and serve the poor.

Sandhiya
Bachelor’s in Nursing
Sandhiya, an only child raised by a single mother working as a maid, has faced significant hardships since her father abandoned the family. Despite their limited income, her mother took out a high-interest jewel loan to support Shandiya’s admission into a Nursing program. Deeply motivated by her mother’s sacrifices and committed to serving others, Shandiya aspires to become a dedicated professional nurse.
